    Hop on the subway and visit the notorious grounds of the Oktoberfest, transformed into Munich's largest and most offbeat Christmas market during November and December. Very informative tour through the Christmas Markets, guide was very flexible and tweaked the tour based on our preferences on the fly which was very appreciative. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the markets and experience the food, drinks and history.

Lockie’s energy and excitement for what he does truly made this tour a memorable experience. Even in the rain we were having a great time. I will say that, on other tours I have done, there were more food stops along the way and it would’ve been nice to have 1-2 more food items along with the drinks. Overall, the experience was both fun and educational and would highly recommend you do this Christmas tour! If you are planning your trip, I’d recommend avoiding the weekend of Christmas “12/20-12/23” as some of the highlight booths Lockie wanted to show us were already sold out and packing up.

This was my second excursion with BlackBook Tours, and it was such a memorable experience! Lockie was knowledgeable, friendly, and was willing to chat not just about the Christmas markets and foods/drinks, but about local culture and customs as well. Almost everybody in the group had questions for him, and he very amiably and enthusiastically answered everyone all through the trip. He was attentive to each individual's needs, and seemed to have just as much fun as the group did. It was like getting acquainted with a friend! I had the best time. The weather was dreadful, but the great company, history tidbits, food and drinks made the trip 100% worth it, even in the bitter cold wind and rain.
