    Byblos Castle, a restored 12th-century Crusader castle surrounded by a 10m-wide dry moat is located just inside the Byblos' atmospheric archaeological site that contains the ruins of the Temple of Baalat Gebal and the Temple of the Obelisks. It's an impressive building that offers an excellent perspective over the ruins from the top of its foursquare keep. A series of Bronze Age dwellings is clearly visible below the walls as you look towards the sea. Inside the castle, there's a small museum and a room with information panels outlining the city's history.

The trip was terrific with a small group full of life, a special thanks to Albert, who gave us detailed information throughout the journey and ensured that we got the most beautiful picture of Lebanon. The cave is beyond description, and Byblos is a fantastic area. Lunch was delicious, with a beautiful view.

I am so glad I chose this tour as I only had one day to explore this beautiful country. Albert was a great tour host - punctual, friendly and knowledgable - couldn't have asked for more. We were one of the first groups to arrive at Jeita Grotto so we could really enjoy the quiet in the caves. Our time at The Lady of Lebanon was equally beautiful, it felt like just the right amount of time to wander through the "garden" and visit the statue. Finally on to Byblos with a very animated tour of the castle, wonderful lunch and again free time to wander through the Souk. It was time well spent with a small group and a great tour guide.

We booked a half-day small group tour to Jeita Grotto and Byblos and the guide was fantastic with very good English. We received very interesting information about Byblos. Lunch was great as well.
