This tour will go beyond an standard “East/Communist Berlin Tour”. We will visit places to understand Berlin’s history as the capital of East Germany. You will visit with a French speaking Guide the Wall Memorial at the Bernauerstrasse. You will take a look to one of the former "ghost stations"  and will talk about the communist architecture at the famous former Stalin Allee and go the "East Side Gallery".

    At the Berlin Wall Memorial on Bernauerstrasse, we'll relive the trauma of separation, visiting an original part of the death strip, the no man's land. We'll discuss escape attempts, tunnels dug for this purpose, and the terrible stories of those who lost their lives because of the Wall.

  • Alexanderplatz, Berlin, Germany
    On the famous Alexanderplatz, in front of representative buildings of socialist Berlin, we'll relive the emotions of the thousands who, through peaceful demonstrations, defied STASI's political repression, triggering the "collapse" of the Wall and the subsequent disintegration of the Soviet bloc.

  • East Side Gallery, Berlin, Germany
    We conclude our visit with the most famous and colorful piece of the Berlin Wall: the East Side Gallery and its 104 murals, including the now-famous kiss between Brezhnev and Honecker.

Excellent tour, très intéressant. Notre guide Céline était passionnante, j'ai aussi apprécié la nuance dans les visions ouest/est, savoir nous montrer les bons et les mauvais côtés de chaque côté du mur.

J'ai fait hier la visite "Berlin Est". C'était une visite parfaite. très bonne ambiance. guide très intéressante. Il me tarde de revenir à Berlin et je ferai les autres visites avec eux!. un grand merci et bravo!

Visite très intéressante avec notre guide qui nous a fait découvrir Berlin Est en nous donnant beaucoup d'informations très intéressante. A faire absolument.
