  • Your guide will contact you one day before the tour to give you an exact pick up time (usually between 7-7:30 AM)
  • Not wheelchair accessible, some stairs to access the underground cellars
  • Wine cellars are usually quite cold and damp (45 °F / 10 °C): do not forget to bring warm clothes with you
  • Private tours (including for bigger groups) are possible upon request; please specify at the time of the booking
  • There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. Wine Passport reserves the right to cancel any tour where the minimum number is not reached (4 ppl). In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Our host, Cedric was great! The winery we visited was incredible, small with an English speaking owner. We fell in love with this place!

The wine tasting and the cab franc at Plou and Fils winery were great. The charcuterie lunch and wines at Bistro L’Oppidum were delicious. Getting to visit the Chambord Castle was also great. However packing all these in one day makes for a very long day. Two hour drive from Paris to the castle, another hour to the wine tastings, then three hour drive back to Paris was a lot. I am glad we did the tour - but next time I’ll likely split out wine tour and castle tour

Our wine tour to the Michel Vattan estate was a truly memorable experience, made even more special by our wonderful host, Nathalie. She was warm, knowledgeable, and passionate, guiding us through a fantastic tasting of Vattan’s elegant Sancerre wines. Lunch at Le Chat was outstanding—fresh and local dishes. The day ended with a final tasting at Château de Sancerre, where we enjoyed breathtaking views and a deeper appreciation for the area’s winemaking heritage. The tour was well-organized, immersive, and absolutely delightful. Cedric (MyWinedays) our tour guide was well informed and provided a truly exceptional experience. This tour is a must-do for any wine lover visiting Sancerre!
