Andre was an absolutely amazing guide. He was so knowledgeable about Alfama and shared so much information with us. We especially enjoyed the stories that you don’t normally read about in history books. He brought Alfama to life and took us down winding alleys where we could see the everyday life of the people who have lived in the area for generations. It was a fascinating experience.

Excellent walking tour. We are a family of four, with two young children (8 and 5), and Andriy our guide was very accomodating. He is a wealth of information and knows the area well. Starting in the Graça neighborhood and walking down into Alfama, we saw several of the beautiful old churches and the handpainted tile work Portugal is famous for. Andriy explained much of the history surrounding the area and was happy to go at our pace. We even stopped for slushies at a small restaurant and then another quick stop for some ginjinha in Alfama for my wife and I ????. Alfama is a beautiful neighborhood with tight streets and lots of character. Highly recommend this tour if you're in Lisbon.
