In the House of Cheese we try to let you know the importance of the Majorera Goat has for Fuerteventura and its people. How is it possible that such a special animal has been able to overcome all the possible adversities with respect to the desert climate of our island, passing feeding difficulties in the history of the years, and not being able to sustain our ancestors majoreros, with their milk or meat, but has been and is able to provide us with a milk of such high quality, which has made Fuerteventura goat cheeses in the best in the world.

    Really really good fun. We made cheese, fed the goats, cuddled a baby goat then ate breakfast! Our guide Elaine was just amazing, super friendly and very informative. Highly recommend this tour.

    Morgens um 9 Uhr ging es los. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 7 Personen. Die Führung war auf englisch und deutsch und wirklich sehr klasse! Zuerst holten wir gemeinsam die Ziegen rein, lernten sie von Hand und mit Hilfsmitteln zu melken, brachten sie gemeinsam raus und versorgten sie … Einfach ein herziges und wirklich ursprünglich und tolles Erlebnis. Dann erstellen wir unseren eignen Ziegenkäse, versorgten die Babyzieglein und frühstückten gemeinsam. Alles äusserst nett und ein tolles Erlebnis. Sehr empfehlenswert.
