We are the "Quiet Alternative to an Airboat Ride". A boating, kayaking and walking tour in Everglades National Park. Our most popular tour! Park at our shop, a local historic building. With your Florida Master Naturalist Guide, you will take a short golf cart ride to your boat. On the boat, while searching for dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, rosette spoonbills, herons, egrets, ospreys, eagles and shore birds, learn about the Everglades different ecosystems, its long history and rich culture. At 1st sheltered destination, we will deploy very stable kayaks. The stealth of the kayak allows you to get close to the flora and fauna. Our next destination is an uninhabited barrier island beach where you will be led on a leisurely, hands-on walking tour. Expect to see more seashells than you ever have. After the walk, we are back in the kayaks, then the boat, then the golf cart and back to home base Note: June through October, we suggest the morning experiences due to the weather.

Just a great trip with a very good captain. he gave us lots of informations about the enviroment and the history of the everglades and we saw many birds, horseshoecrabs and even dolphins. the captain has years of experiance and can answer every question, thank you!

Der Ausflug mit Don war wunderschön. Er hat der kleinen Gruppe aufgrund seines Fachwissens sehr viel erzählen und Fragen beantworten können. Diese Art von Tour würden wir einer Schnellboottour immer wieder vorziehen. Die Fahrt mit dem Boot zum Golf von Mexico, mit Wanderung über eine verlassene Insel und anschließender Kanutour ist ein wunderschönes Erlebnis. Wir haben sehr viel über die Ureinwohner der 10000-Islands erfahren. Sehr interessant! Alligatoren haben wir keine gesehen, dafür aber ein Delfinbaby mit seiner Mama beim frühstücken beobachten können. Toll!

Don, our guide, was full of fascinating facts on the area, wildlife and history of the Everglades. We are a family if 5 with 3 teenagers, all of us captivated. We learnt so much. We saw osprey, bald eagles, so many shells and had a wonderful boat ride with dolphins surfing behind us. I’ll never look at a shell the same again. Highly recommended. Thanks Don, hope to see you on TV at the premier later in the year!
