What a fun night!!! Manos was a great guide. He took us to great places and we had a very lovely time! He explained a lot about the wines and foods we were given and even treated us to the best baklava we’ve ever had! We def reccomend this tour to get a great feel of the city and try new and exciting things!!!

For anyone who likes food, this is an absolute must! I booked this tour because we we’re arriving in Athens in the early afternoon and I rather haphazardly booked it because it was later in the day and I am SO very glad we did! It was one of the best tours we did on our 20 day vacation! Penelope is very knowledgeable about the origins of all the ingredients of the foods we sampled and her choices of venues was nothing short of perfect! We did everything from wine & cheese tasting to olive oil tasting and learned so much about both the oils and cheeses. The foods covered a wide range of samples and I was quite full at the end of the tour. The walk was not strenuous and it seemed as though we could look up any street and see the Acropolis as the sunset. Penelope was kind enough to send me a short list of Greek cookbooks that I had asked about and I’m looking forward to getting them and trying the dishes at home. I loved this tour and it is one of the reasons I’ve fallen in love with Greece. We plan to come back to Greece and Athens in the early fall next year and I will book this tour again. If I could rate it 10 stars I would! Try this tour and you will not be disappointed! Dave Holt ARNP

Even though it was a group tour, I was the only one who showed up so it was a private dining experience. My guide was very knowledgeable and didn't rush through any of the experience from the small shops and tastes to the restaurant entrees followed by the best gelato in the city. I bought wines and pistachio butter and sample olive oils while enjoying a wine tasting and charcuterie and a full meal - really too much food for just one person - but an amazing experience and value. Skip dinner and take this tour!
