There you will access a tour through the sumptuous space where you can see a vast collection of pieces of rural goldsmithing of the nineteenth century, which reveals the mysteries of a period of national identity consecration of the figure of the Gaucho as a main character of that time. In Paradores Draghi begin your journey through history not only as a spectator, but also as a participant in the process of making exclusive goldsmith pieces that take shape through the hands of artisans recreating the techniques of traditional goldsmithing as their founder, Juan José Draghi, did in the 60s. Once you get to the town, you will enjoy a tour of the village including a walk around the historical downtown of the city.

  • Parroquia San Antonio de Padua, San Antonio de Areco, Argentina
    Located on Segundo Sombra Street, between Alsina and Arrellano. Don José Ruiz de Arellano founded the first oratory in the center of his stay. The foundation of this oratory was very important for the creation of the town. In the years 1720 and 1728, the first chapel was built, it was located a little more to the right than the current one. The foundation stone of the present church was placed on February 7, 1869 and was buried under the central entrance door. Inside it was placed a lead box containing the original records written on parchment, newspapers of the day, medals and coins of the time.

    Make your way to a Estancia in Buenos Aires in San Antonia de Areco. At this place, you will have a chance to take rides on horses or go for a ride in a carriage while enjoying some traditional cold cuts, cheeses and beverages. Then, you will enjoy a typical Argentinian barbeque of the finest meats. While you have dessert, you will be able to see a folklore show followed by a demonstration of gaucho skills.

What a great day! Lovely to get outside Buenos Aires to the amazing countryside. Miriam our guide and Felix our coach driver were great and Miriam was so knowledgable and great company. Stopped off at San Antonio de Areco to see the famous silversmith and then to the ranch Estancia where we rode horses and took the carriage ride whilst experiencing great views for miles and miles. Then your lunch will leave you not wanting to eat for days! Hosts were lovely too. Totally recommend this full day trip to experience what else Argentina has to offer!

The experience was perfect. It met all of our expectations and more. It was my wife and I along with our 2 girls (ages 4 &7) they enjoyed every minute of it. Our guide was Myriam. She was wonderful! We had originally thought we might do a day trip to Colonia, Uruguay but later decided that might be boring for the kids so we changed our minds and decided to go for the Gaucho day. It was 100% the right decision!!! The kids enjoyed the carriage ride, my wife and I went for a horse ride. We all loved the food! The folklore dancing and the special show at the end were wonderful as well! I would definitely recommend!

From pick up to our drop off at our Buenos Aires we could not have wished for a more enjoyable experience. Jael our guide ensured we had the greatest experience, she was friendly and super efficient ensuring we had a stress free tour tailored to our needs The facilities at the ranch were exemplary from the carriage ride to the entertainment, everyone friendly and courteous. The food was excellent, well prepared and served in a welcoming dining room The day tour has been one of the highlights of our time in Buenos Aires - thank you Jael and your driver
