Scott was an excellent guide and very kind to take us when it was just two of us on the trip. It was a windy, cold, winter day at the canyon with plenty of mist. But, Scott had so much history of the Hopi and Navajo and the geology of the canyon to share that even though we did not spend a lot of time gazing from outdoors, we were satisfied with our day. The van allows a longer time at the canyon than some other options and since we'd already been on Amtrak from CA, we didn't need to also take the tourist train to the canyon. In the van we got to ask lots of questions. In the geology museum, hopi house, El Tovar, and the Desert View Watchtower (a famous woman architect designed this and many other southwestern special places!), we were happy to warm up and enjoy the interior sights and views out windows while still having our guide on hand to interpret and inform.

This was one of the best tours we have had in a long time. If you do not use Grand Canyon Adventures to book your trip, you will definitely miss a great experience. They went above and beyond to make us feel valued. Scott was the BEST!!!!!!. We were welcomed by name on arrival and felt right at home. We had the luxury of being the only couple on the tour and we were treated as VIPs. I cannot say enough good about the crew. Everything for the entire trip was well planned and they made us feel comfortable. Nothing but top notch from the entire group. When we come back, we will most definitely be a repeat customer. Everything was amazing.

We went with tour guide Rocky and he is a superstar! Great trip, many stops, super informative, Greta cowboy poems and a true gentleman. Absolutely book this company.
