Our wine tour is a social, down to earth and laid back trip that offers great wines, gin,cider and more..and we have a laugh doing it! We'll pick you up in the morning and focus on everyone getting to know each other. We get everyone to add to a Spotify playlist so we have some tunes and spend the first hour just chatting! Every tour is different. Everything we do on my trip is discussed by the group in the morning. We will give you options to choose from including many different wineries, Distilleries, a cheese place,a chocolate factory, Cideries, restaurants and breweries.  However if you just want to come along and put your trust in us, we will visit 4 or 5 unique venues, all with a point of difference. Generally we do 2 wineries,a restaurant,a distillery and either,a chocolate place or a champagne place. We don't include lunch in the price, so we go to a restaurant (Quarters) where you can order/pay what you want to eat/drink. We use a 24 seater bus, but only fill 10-18 seats

    The following are a list of wineries and venues we could go to. We do not go to all of these. The tour includes tastings at 4 of these venues , with a 5th being a lunch stop that doesn’t include a tasting. The itinerary can change each day based on what’s open/availabe. We will drive for 55 minutes to our first venue. After about 45 minutes its starts getting scenic!

    We also provide cheese platters here to compliment your tasting. Incredible views. Laid back type of winery with an incredible range of tastes. From Medium bodied reds, to pinot grigio, from sweet desert wines to sparkling, from unfiltered pinot noirs, to Chardonnay to heavy Shiraz and fortified wines. We also provide cheese platters here to compliment your tasting.

    Due to this place not really accepting tour groups, we can't actually generally include drinks here. If we can sense that there are some of the group that reaaalllly want to go to Chandon...what we do is after lunch instead of taking 30m minutes to just relax and enjoy the lunch venue itself, we drive those who want to check out Chandon and essentially leave you there for 30-40 minutes. This is our way around it. So we can do it, but it definitely will be at your own expense and is not included in the price. A little frustrating, but we are literally the only tour that even offers that! We find all people want to do there is just have a glass and enjoy the scenery anyway, so 30-40 minutes Is plenty of time!

  • St Huberts Cellar Door, Coldstream, Victoria, Australia
    Here we have lunch. The restaurant is called 'Quarters' and is located on St Huberts Estates winery. The entire menu is QR coded or you can order with wait staff. Lunch is not included in the price so this would be at your own expense. The food is incredible here. I would allow anything from 10-40$ here, depending on how hungry you are. There is something for everyone here. Pizzas, burgers, steaks, ribs, vegan dishes, celiac friendly, creative salads,...really nice food! The venue itself is really impressive and they also have a cellar door to do wine tastings and whiskey tasting, as well as an Indigenous art museum all done by First Nations people around Victoria. We often split the group up after lunch for those that want to explore the venue...or those that want to try Chandon.

    Here we try 4 of their Gins on a paddle, with tonic or soda to mix with it whilst being told how hey make it in their new impressive distillery. That said, if you don't like gin or want something else, we can get you any type of drink there. You can even cross the road and we can arrange a private wine tasting at Payton and Jones if you really want to keep the day Wine focused.

    Here at this very scenic spot, you will have a private tasting of 10-12 chocolates over 25 minutes. You'll then have time to buy any chocolate you like as well as take advantage of the ice cream section of the factory.

    If people are not interested in the chocolate tasting, we offer the chance to drive people to this winery which around the corner from the chocolate place. This would be simply a round of drinks but would be at your own expense. Its simply a nice scenic way to end the day if you want to keep drinking.

    This place is a bit of a 'maybe'. We tend to find that we don't regularly go here unless a lot of people want to sacrifice an alcohol place on the day. It is very close to a winery we frequently go to and we can occasionally split the group up. We actually supply cheese platters at the second winery which is the exact same cheese that you could get from this place. Here we supply cheese platters of 3 goats cheeses and 3 cows Cheeses as well as crackers (GF). It's a quick stop..normally only 20 minutes.. It's also a cafe and a place you can buy lesser known wines of the Yarra.

  • We do not do Hotel pick ups unless you can meet us on the way the Yarra Valley and it's not a detour.
  • We do not have space for luggage of any sort.
  • We have 2 vehicles that run this tour. We primarily use a 24 seater bus but purposefully dont fill it up to still give the tour an intimate and small-group feel. We only allow 18 people max book. We also run a second vehicle of 13 seats which is a smaller van. If group size is important to you, please let us know so we can best accomodate you!
  • This is a public group tour where you’ll be joined by others. You can book this tour however as a large group and we can discuss doing a private tour for your group
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

This day trip promised to be personalised, intimate and relaxed. Nothing like rising my expectations even higher than they normally are. Challenge accepted! And….. TeePee tours came out on top! Dan was genuine, warm and welcoming as we arrived for our first trip to the Yarra. She walked through the full bus chatting to everyone and asking us to sing out what we would like put on the play list for the day! A first for me. Love it. As we commenced our journey out of the city towards the Yarra, Dan chatted to and with all of us; telling us about the ‘carrot man’ who is well known in Melbourne (who we drove past) and his story. She kindly informed us of the tentative plans for the day, asked us all for our preferences/expectations and came up with a workable plan so we all got to experience our preferred choices; Cheese V Chocolate, another Winery V Gin etc, with the thoughtful mention of ‘buy a cheese platter here’ at this Winery when doing a tasting if we chose Chocolate over Cheese tasting later in the day. Lunch at St Hubert’s was amazing and would definitely return. The building, the food, the wine, oh my!! Dan continued to look after us here too. Made sure we were all comfortable, knew what to do re ordering food and always made sure she kept us hydrated with plenty of water. Dan continually engaged with each person, or couple or group making us feel valued. Andrew; her partner was a wealth of knowledge on text, she regularly said; ‘I’ll ask Andrew, he’ll know where…..’ and came back to us with an informed update regarding a previous conversation! We had such a lovely relaxing day! Exactly as it said on the packet….oh I mean Ad!! Andrew, Dan is a huge asset to your Team.
