    War Remnants Museum: Formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes, this is a poignant display of the futility of war. Some of the black and white photography in the ‘Requiem’ exhibit is particularly touching, dedicated to both foreign and Vietnamese journalists and photographers who perished during the conflict. The courtyard outside contains the spoils of war, namely rusting jets, tanks and cannons captured from the American military machine.

We did a private tour with Anthony and he was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and proud of this beautiful city, as well as taking lots of photos for us, and making sure we were comfortable the whole time. The tour took us through major attractions in HCMC, and some we would never have found on our own. Lunch was a lovely 5 course meal at a local restaurant serving traditional food. The “Thousand Buddha” pagoda was the highlight for me, as well as the Cyclo ride. A great way to see the city when you have a short period of time.

We had an amazing one-day tour in Ho Chi Minh City, and it wouldn’t have been the same without our guide, Loi. From the moment we met, he was warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared so much insightful history and local stories that really brought each place to life. Loi was attentive to our needs, kept the pace comfortable, and made sure we felt safe and relaxed throughout. He also introduced us to some hidden gems and delicious local food spots we would have never found on our own. It was a short trip, but thanks to Loi, it was filled with rich experiences, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Our family just finished an amazing tour with Manh. I cannot recommend this tour enough. We have been on dozens of tours throughout the world and this was amongst the best. The cultural immersion was unexpected and extraordinary. Hopefully we will return one day and if/when we do, we will tour again with Manh!!
