Join us on a walk through the picturesque streets of Athens' old city "Plaka" and visit 3 unique local wine bars, each with its own history and personal style. We do not just try wine, we are informed about each variety, the ways it is made. We try 6 different varieties of Greek wine all of them grown and produced in Greece by local vintners, each of them chosen for its distinct taste and origin. What will you taste: 6 glasses (75ml) of wine p.p. Meze (Greek appetizers) served at each wine bar (rusks or salty sticks, cheese, olives, tomato). Reserved table on all venues An experienced, educated & friendly facilitator will be accompanying you to assist you with anything you might need!

    We walk through one of the main shopping streets of Athens' Historical Center, also full of picturesque cafes, bars and restaurants!

My mom, her friend, and I had the best time on the small walking wine tour. It was the first activity we did after arriving in Athens that morning. Even jet lagged we had a great time. The wines were delicious and the walk was very pleasant (even during a heatwave!). I particularly enjoyed our first stop where the sommelier gave detailed instructions on the process of wine tasting and what characteristics to look for and also history of the grapes. Our guide, Telis, was fun, personable, and provided suggestions for the rest of our stay. It was easy to tell he has a wealth of knowledge and was eager to share. If we had time, we would join their other activities.
