The Iguacu Falls are one of the most spectacular natural spectacles on the South American continent and should not be missed on a trip to South America. This half-day excursion gives you the opportunity to do so, and with the best panoramic view of them all. It is not for nothing that they are one of the 7 natural wonders and were named after the river Iguacu (guarani ... in English big water). Not to forget the national park with its entire 185,000ha protected nature reserve, a unique subtropical flora and fauna. Also, the breeding program '' carnivoro '' has significantly increased the number of jaguars and pumas, so that today it is not uncommon to see them during the excursion.

    Experience the longest waterfalls in the world on a private day trip with me, surrounded by breathtaking nature, in the heart of Iguacu National Park. The natural boundary divides the national parks into two completely different halves and thus 70% of the falls are on the Argentine side. However, according to most visitors to date, the guest has the best panoramic view of the falls from the Brazilian side, from where you can see about 90% of the falls. At the end of the trail, a bridge awaits you that leads to the horseshoe-shaped canyon with a view of Devil's Throat. If you want to avoid the hiking trail or some stairways, you can use the panoramic elevator at the end of the hiking trail. Boat trips and helicopter flights can be booked locally, as well as restaurants in the national park or Belmond Hotel Das Cataratas.

Great private, personalized tour which was a great value for 6 hours. Willian is a superb host with great knowledge of the flora & fauna, history, food and culture of the Falls, the National Park and surrounding communities. He made the pick up from our hotel and the border crossings fast and seamless. Much smoother than trying it as a foreign tourist. He’s a great photographer and knows all the best spots for photo ops along the trails. I would refer him to anyone visiting either Brazil or Argentina!

We had a blast on this tour. Rodrigo is the best guide ever, his english is great and took care of us the whole time, very knowledgeable of the geography and the history of the place. He even dropped us off at our hotel on the other side (Argentina) of the border after the tour ended.

Very affordable for a private guide. We did a day trip from Rio and was picked up and dropped off at the airport. Boat Ride is amazing but pricey and we had to pay the guide at the end of the day which was weird (would have preferred to just pay at the boat launch). The guide spoke English but certainly didn't fully understand the English language. There was a lot of confusion and misunderstanding of each other due to this. Nothing we couldn't move past though.
