Formed by several hundred thousand years of erosion, the Badlands formations expose the layers of millions of years of the regions history. On this day trip, we pedal the nice, moderate Badlands Loop Road for just under 30 miles through the heart of the pinnacles and lower shale formations to the other end of the northern segment of Badlands National Park, where we will enjoy a picnic lunch. Randy was great and I had fun riding an ebike in Badlands! We started at pinnacles entrance and got to the visitors center, which was about 22miles!

EVERY part was my favorite part! Kevin was a great tour guide sharing so much information about the area surrounding the badlands as well as the badlands on our drive out. He provided maps and additional info about the ride we were going to do so we could be prepared. The bike was TOP NOTCH. Kevin and Volanda (his MIL from Australia, who joined him for assistance) accompanied us in the van and leap-frogged us to each scenic view stop along the 22 mile route. They made sure our equipment was still in top-notch shape, that we were hydrated, that we were feeling okay, and to provide tips and information for the distance to the next stop. At the end, they made us a great lunch. The return drive was filled with more info about the area. He knew the answers to all of our questions! We were with a small group - Kevin and Melina took the care to confirm everyone was COVID vaccinated and requested we wear masks in the van for extra precaution, which I really appreciated! We lucked out and had perfect weather, but regardless, this was an awesome way to see the badlands and get some exercise while we were at it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Our bike ride through the Badlands was amazing! Kevin was an excellent guide, very informative and provided a great experience for us. I would say this is the best way to see the Badlands!
