We're a small boutique Glacier tour company that only operates one scenic Helicopter at a time. We are the only business located at the beautiful Hokitika Gorge. The only Helicopters to visit Six different glaciers in one tour. Adjacent to the most spectacular free walk "The Hokitika Gorge". Convenient three hour drive from Christchurch city. Based just out of the coolest little town Hokitika.

I booked this Glacier heli trip as a special treat for the family to celebrate my husband's milestone bday. We've been lucky to do quite a bit of tramping in the South Island but seeing the glaciers from the air was truely magnificent. Landing at a frozen lake and being so close to the steep gravelly slopes was fantastic. Matt was informative and a very experienced pilot. He made sure we had the best time.

Well worth doing! You fly through the mountains and see the six glaciers, and then you land on one of the mountains and check out the view. The guy who runs it is great, when I told him I can't drive he came to my hotel and drove me out there. He's really knowledgeable about the history of the area. There's a minimum group size so if you're on your own, give them a call and find out if you can join up with another group.
