**Must be 13+ to participate as a rider** Join Cycle Kyoto for a morning bike tour around south Kyoto's most beautiful locations. Stay safe riding on quiet backstreets, explore the mighty Fushimi Inari Shrine as well as a host of specially selected locations. Starts with a visit to the temples of central Kyoto before following the Takase Canal and Kamo River into Gion. After weaving through the backstreets of Kyoto’s famous geisha and teahouse district, we head up to the spectacular Tofukuji Temple for pictures. We then roll down to the other side of the slope and straight into Fushimi Inari Shrine (The most visited attraction in Japan!). After a stroll around the famous orange Torii gates, we head home.

We did a private south course with electric assisted bikes. All day would have been hard with the summer heat! Kyoto is crazy hot in summer so thank goodness we did! We had Indra! He was great, so knowledgable and kind! Great activity to see many sites in one day, get great info and with private you can cater it toward your likes/dislikes. Cant wait to download all the photos when we get home in a week!

Tierry was the best tour guide ever. Not only did he show us around the back streets of Kyoto and taught us the history of Kyoto, he also made sure to entertain and educate us. He taught all of us how to count to 99 in Japanese. He was really good with the children and they had a blast with him. He was very accommodating to our youngest boy who was 8 and not a very strong biker. He made sure to change the tour accordingly so that our little boy could keep up. Even though he had somewhat of a tough time keeping up with us he still had a wonderful time.

We had a tour with Jay! It was an absolutely phenomenal and personal experience! Jay is an energetic, charming personality who definitely knows his way around! We for sure recommend cycle Kyoto.
