Gamboa, the city’s port area, is full of secrets, hidden history and forgotten stories that, once uncovered, can shed light on a fascinating part of Rio de Janeiro. My name is Kelly Tavares, and I’ll be your guide on this audio tour. I hope to offer you an understanding of Brazilian culture, unveil the myth of racial democracy in this country, and teach you about our diaspora. Along the way, I’ll explain why sharing, listening, and exchanging stories empowers our communities.     This is a great audio tour. But may take longer than 40 min. We got drinks at Da Pedro and knew we wanted to come back for the nightlife.

    Fuimos por primera vez con mi esposa y nos encontramos con un lugar maravilloso, al lado del mar, prácticamente, al tener una laguna que se alimenta de las aguas del mar con agua muy tranquila y amplia playa para estar todo el día. Por supuesto, hoy un mar para realizar surf con mucho oleaje también . Pero yendo al servicio en la posada, realmente cuenta con una atención personalizada y excelente, de todas las personas que allí trabajan, ya que, cuando te vas, te quedan en el recuerdo por lo bien que te trataron. Agregar también el restaurante que te da el desayuno en las mañanas, súper desayuno, ya que tenes una variedad de alimentos frescos, frutas y bebidas, sin límites; El mismo está abierto, con el personal al que hago referencia, desde el mes de noviembre hasta fin de marzo. En fin, sólo podrán valorar lo que les digo, viniendo en forma personal, para sentir todo el placer que hemos sentido al haber estado acá. Para finalizar, pretendemos volver el próximo verano, si la salud nos lo permite.
