What is Canyoning? It is to explore rivers and waterfalls using vertical and swimming tecniques for progression. The Usina River is a special place for Canyoning, it is a clear water river sourounded by the Brazillian Atlantic Rain Forest.  Hike up on the valley to the start point is a warm up and a piece of advice of what is gonna come next.  River walk, abseiling, rockslide, downclimb, swim and jump to explore this unique canyon. There are 3 options for this River - Mini Canyon - 2 hours for begginers - Lower Usina - 4 hours with caving - Upper Usina - 4 hours - for experienced

  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Guias profissionais e com muito conhecimento da região e sua cultura, ótimo para conhecer Paraty e a Serra da Bocaina. Recomendo fortemente. Felipe e Daniel organizaram um passeio de primeira classe com explicações sobre a natureza e a história do lugar além de um curso rápido em canionismo. Foi um dia perfeito com decidas livres, rapel, trilhas, corrimão e pulos com a maior segurança. Realmente um passeio fantástico.

It was by far one of our favourite experiences. With 2 great guides, Felipe and Tico we made our way through something out of a movie. You need to have a good fitness level and be able to follow instructions, it was our first time canyoning and would do it again! Take a moment to listen to the sounds and movement around you, also ask Philipi about his mushroom joke. The highlight: "Go get your bag" - find out what that means yourself hahaha

Aventura incrível! A gente passou o dia todo descendo várias cachoeiras, fazendo rappel, nadando, pulando de pedras - Felipe montou um tipo de tirolesa no meio da cachoeira também que foi muito bacana. Dá para ver o rio de um outro ângulo que seria impossível fazer sem equipamento. Se tiver medo de alturas, talvez seja melhor fazer outra coisa, mas ainda assim vale muito a pena fazer! É super seguro e Felipe explica tudo antes, mostrando como fazer as descidas. O passeio termina na parte alta da Cachoeira da Usina/Crepúsculo que é maior e mais bonita do cachoeira de baixo, mas a maioria dos turistas não conseguem ver porque tá meio perigoso chegar lá sem equipamento. Recomendo muito o passeio, e quero fazer de novo em breve! Nota 10
