We start up the trail from Praia Grande in Barra de Guaratiba. After 2 miles (3.5 km) to the summit at 1,161-foot (354-meter), we stop at the famous rock edge that went viral on instagram and made the location famous all over the world. Besides that, great views of Rio's beaches such as Praia do Perigoso, Praia do Meio, Grumari, Pontal do Recreio, Barra da Tijuca, as well as Pedra da Gávea and all the Restinga da Marambaia.

Excelente excrusión. Nuestro guia fue Paulo Mourao y fue muy puntual y profesional. Llegamos a primera hora a la piedra del telégrafo y tuvimos el mirador para nosotros solos por mucho tiempo. Tambien nos dio tiempo suficiente en otros dos miradores y al regreso hicimos una parada en la playa para un chapuzón y un trago. Totalmente recomendado!

My friend and I did this hike and it was incredible. The hike was pretty easy compared to some others I did here. Not to much incline and really a must do if you come to Brazil!
