Pedra do Telégrafo is located in the west side of Rio de Janeiro. The rock has a nice view of the beautiful city, in on one side we see wild beaches and the Tijuca National Park. On the other side, we have a wonderful view of the Marambaia, a huge beach with big swamp area. The hiking takes approximately 1 hour to climb(one way), its summit is 354 meters above sea level. Returning from Pedra do Telégrafo to the city we will stop for a bath and relaxing at Grumari(one of the most beautiful beaches in Rio) and after we will drive trough all the beaches along the coast of Rio with many opportunities to take photos.

Awesome guide and hike. Unfortunately cloudy day but the air and view was still well worth the sweat. Will definitely come back either for sunrise or sunset!

This was an excellent experience. Reservation was simple and efficient. Daniel was very good with prompt communication. We did the afternoon tour and it ended up being my wife and I. The hike up is quite something, especially in the afternoon heat but, Alex our guide was a gem. So patient, encouraged us up the hill. Volunteered to to take pictures with our phone for us when we were up there. He is quite the photographer and caught some great moments. Translated with the 'photographer' that was there. The view is spectacular. We were very tired after travelling all day and then doing the tour so we passed on the beach stops even though Alex was ready to do it. Definitely recommend!
