Olá! I’m Mariana, an official tour guide of Rio de Janeiro. This tour is a wonderful way to see all the magnificent sights and get to know the history and culture of our lovely city. I’d love to show you around so you can have the best memories of your trip. Any tour can be personalized to meet your tastes! A typical tour looks like this: Stop 1: Christ the Redeemer (Cristo Redentor) in Corcovado national park. Beat the crowds with an early trip to the world famous statue, situated in the world’s largest urban forest. Stop 2: Selaron steps, a colourful mosaic landmark of Rio located in one of its most famous districts. Stop 3: Historical centre of Rio de Janeiro, with monuments from all eras of Brazil’s history. Stop 4: The Sugar Loaf. Beautiful views, pristine rainforest and even the occasional monkey! Other options include visits to the Botanical gardens, the world-famous beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, Parque Laje, legendary football stadium Maracanã or the Sambadrome.

Mariana, she's simply the best! She was so accommodating, friendly, knowledgable, and sweet. She simply just gave the best introduction to Rio. It seems like she knows everyone in Rio too. She was also sweet enough to able to get tough to get tickets for a Flamengo game, and she also joined us. I don't think there's a bigger Flamengo fan in the world. She's a great ambassador for Brazil, Rio, and Flamengo. Do yourself a favor and just take the tour with her, I guarantee you will have a great time because Mari is the best, hands down!

Mariana is a wonderful person and a superb guide. She is very good with making sure her guest’s needs are all catered for. We spent two different days with her and she made sure we not only saw the important sights, but also the lesser known areas that gives you a whole new perspective of this amazing city.
