    Your skip-the-line ticket is valid for any departure time on the day of your visit. Cable cars run every 20 minutes from morning to night, and can accommodate 65 people. It takes three minutes to go up to the first mountain, Morra da Urca, and an additional three minutes to reach the summit. Your ticket is valid for any returning cable car and you can spend as much time as you want at the top.

    Excellent Service of the Bondinho. Extremely fast and easily accessible. It is a must-see place for knowledge of the city.

    Go to the sugar loaf mountain website and buy the fast pass tickets. Took an Uber, on arrival you are met by queues according to entrance time. I just showed my fast pass tickets to a member of staff who send you to a different queue. We were there at 0830 just as the doors opened. We were first in and no need to go to ticket booths. Bear left and staff will usher you through to a room where you are given bottled water, a silver wristband and access to separate toilets. Then we were shown to the front of the queue for the very first cable car of the day. You go up to Urca mountain and then follow the signs (to the left) for the next cable car that takes you up to Sugar Loaf mountain. Once up there it was very calm and quiet. As much free space as we wanted to take in the views and get the photos. It was way calmer than Christ the Redeemer. Completely different experience. Lots of shops and places to eat on both mountains. Get a souvenir if you want. Spent about 1.5hrs taking it all in. Never got crowded. Got on the first cable car each time to get back down. Toilets are on both mountains and they have water filling stations up there along with free orange umbrellas you can borrow.

    Everything is super organized – from the approach to the ride on the gondolas. The two stages up give you time to enjoy the view on the way. Once at the top, you can stroll, linger and take in the spectacular view in all directions. We were very satisfied with the Fast Pass – no long waiting times, just relaxed. For us, a clear tip: absolutely do it when you are in Rio!
