I had such an amazing time with Ayşe. Not only did she show me parts of Old Town I hadn’t seen, her extensive knowledge of history and current events were far more informative than any of the articles I’d read about the region. Her ability to explain the culture and history of each location we visited was really special and I felt she was more like my friend welcoming me to her home town than a tour guide. I can’t recommend her enough for any tour and I can’t wait to be back and explore more of the region with her ????????

Marsin atrae por su mezcla intercultural, sus edificaciones de piedra amarilla y su tradición. Si vas, no dejes de probar el vino siríaco y visita Midyat

We have had a wonderful one week vacation in Mardin thanks to Ayșe, who speaks excellent English and is a treasure chest of information and stories about the region's many communities (Turkish, Syriac, Kurdish, Armenian and Yazidi). She is a very professional guide, able to adapt to the various needs and to the rhythm of each tourist, paying attention to details and always giving us options. She recommended the best places to eat, shop and immerse ourselves in the local culture. Besides the Old City of Mardin, she took us to see Deyrulzafaran, Mor Gabriel, a Yazidi village and Göbeklitepe.
