Our guide was called Sam and was really informative and nice. I really enjoyed the Reed Flute Caves, this was probably the best part of the day for me. Elephant trunk hill was nice to see, but I wish I didn't climb the hill as the view was not that impressive in comparison to other places I have visited, and lots of buildings/housing blocks kind of ruined the view. Again, Fubo hill was really just okay to see but I wouldn't choose to climb it again. I got the impression that the Buddhist statues had been placed into the cave at Fubo for the purpose of tourism, so that did not impress me. It was however nice to see the remaining Buddhist carvings that survived Mao (you can see the attempts to destroy them). Sam organised a place too take us for lunch and that was beautiful, we got lots o vegetarian options which was great for me. I enjoyed this! Overall I would go to the Reed flute caves again but the other parts I would probably not visit again. Our guide Sam really made the trip.
