Thailand’s largest hydro-electric project produced an exceptionally GORGEOUS lake in their lush rain forest, populated with interesting sights and experiences; long-boat rides, caves to explore with limestone formations, swimming, hiking, and just hanging-out to revel in the stunning setting. Impossible NOT to be impressed and moved by visit to this place. Our trip was supported by a great guide and a comfy a/c equipped van. There were rest-stops along the way which had their own amazing features…a good way to spend a day in Thailand????????

Awesome excursion viewing wild life, scenery, and meeting new friends from Poland, Germany and the US doing amazing things I never thought I would do. I expanded my bucket list then checked off a few items! Spelunking in a cave - CHECK! swimming in a lake in a tropical rain forest and — CHECK! taking a ride in a Thai long-boat — CHECK! Standing on Thailand’s largest damn and principle source for hydro-electric power—CHECK Exhilarating!!
