Thai cuisine is loved worldwide for its exotic taste and unique flavours. The cuisine is a mix of sour, sweet, bitter, salty and spicy – and the magic is in getting the combination of these just right. Stir fries, curries and dips are packed full of fragrant herbs and spices such as lemongrass, kaffir, basil, ginger, garlic – and plenty of red hot chillis. Presentation is important too and a well-prepared Thai meal is a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds. Learning to master some basic Thai dishes is a great skill to take home with you. A visit to a local market and a hands-on cooking class are all the right ingredients for a fun-filled day out.

  • This tour is operated on joint / Seat-In-Coach basis only with English-speaking chef / instructor at the cooking school.
  • Return transfers for this excursion apply only / are inclusive for customers staying along Khao Lak’s main beaches. Transfers outside these areas such as Phuket, Khao Sok, Phang Nga, Ranong, Takua Pa Town including any harbour or airport are excluded. Supplements apply for customers who want to join this excursion outside one of these regions.
  • We will do all possible to comply with any dietary requirements during this excursion; it may not always be possible to confirm your wishes in advance based on the choice of menu during the cooking class.
  • Featured menus for cooking classes may vary from season to season, depending on the availability of certain ingredients. Any example inside the description serves as an indication of what customers may learn to make.
  • We will always make the effort to confirm the exact pick-up time upon reservation. For any operational issues in which are not able to confirm the exact pick-up time in advance, we reserve the right to inform you the day before the departure of the tour.
  • Please note pick-up and drop-off services may not be confirmed for customers staying at private residences, apartment complexes, or other non-registered tourism accommodations. Customers may be asked to meet at a nearby hotel for pick-up and drop off.
  • It is the responsibility of the customer to provide us with the correct hotel information, should pick-up and drop-off services be included in the package. Any changes in accommodation outside 24 hours will be handled accordingly: changes within 24 hours may be on request.
  • In the event of no-show or change of accommodation without prior consent and confirmation from us within 24 hours may result in the applicable cancellation charges as outlined in the terms and conditions.
  • This tour is not recommended for families with children under the age of 12 years old.
  • This tour is required minimum of 4 pax.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

The course was very interesting and nicely organized. The teacher spoke well english but her assistants not. We tried three different dishes and ate them together with other teams. It was a fun day! We learned alot about important ingredients of Thai kitchen and its culture. We recommend it strongly.
