Begin your day tour with a hotel pick-up in Khao Lak between 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM, and depart for the river. Hop on a bamboo raft and float along the waters, relax and enjoy the stunningly beautiful rainforest around you as your raft is pulled by a local boatman. Visit a sea turtle conservation center working to save and increase the number of sea turtles in the region. The Royal Thai Navy plays an active role in turtle conservation and baby turtles are brought to the center, where they are nursed for 6-8 months before being released into the sea. Finish the tour with a trip to Ton Pling Waterfall, the most popular waterfall in the area. Experience the lovely atmosphere and marvel at the amazing environment surrounding you. Swim in the small ponds at the waterfall and just enjoy the relaxing ambiance, before being dropped off back at your hotel. Note: Program is subject to change due to availability and other reasons.

A really enjoyable and well organised half day trip, especially the bamboo rafting. The water level was very low which made some of it challenging to get through but the guides did a great job. The location was beautiful. Lovely to see the sea turtles at the naval base. The waterfall was underwhelming but my husband and son enjoyed a quick swim so it was a nice add-on at the end of the trip.

We only booked the trip a day before online. Very efficient. Pick up from our hotel in Khao Lak was on time. Lovely friendly guide and safe driver. The turtles were cute and lots of time to look around. A short trip to the rafting and a beautiful 30-40 cruise down the river (with someone else doing all the work!). Saw beautiful wildlife (including snakes in the trees!) and really pleasant. The waterfall wasn't really much as there was not a lot of water around but it was nice for a quick dip. A very pleasant experience for the price we paid (A$57 each).
