I 100% regret booking with this company. If I could go back in time and shake myself by the shoulders, I would.
At first, I was a little suspicious—their reviews felt weirdly generic. Same phrases, no real experiences, just “amazing” and “wonderful.” The photos looked like they were taken on a Nokia flip phone. But I ignored my gut. Rookie mistake.
The day before our tour, we got an email saying our pickup was at 7:40 AM, and if the driver wasn’t there by 8:00, we should call. There was also a note about possible changes due to weather and tides. I don’t know much about tides, so I figured maybe that’s why they changed our time. Nope. Turns out, they just straight-up forgot about us.
At 7:30 AM, we were in front of our hotel, waiting like eager little tourists. 8:00 rolled around—no driver. We called. They said, “Oh, we just talked to the driver! He’ll be there in 10 minutes.” Cool, we thought.
8:10. No driver. Called again. “He’ll be there in 10 minutes.”
8:20. Still nothing. Called again. This time, we found out they had never talked to a driver because… there wasn’t one. They never even scheduled our pickup. Our boat had actually left at 6:00 AM, and they just forgot to tell us. Our once-in-a-lifetime tour? Completely ruined.
By the time we finally got picked up, it was 9:30 AM. Meaning, my husband and I stood outside in the blazing sun for two hours, sweating, unable to leave because they kept saying, “Just 10 more minutes!” over and over again. We couldn't even go inside to cool off, grab food, or do anything because we were constantly being strung along.
But wait, it gets worse.
They then assured us, “We’ll get you on a boat, a car is coming for you.” Except, well… communication was an issue. We don’t speak Thai, and their English wasn’t great, which made everything even more confusing.
The “10-minute” car finally arrived 30 minutes later. Frustration levels rising. They rushed us to a boat, and I asked, “Where are we going?” Their answer? “Your tour.” Yeah, no. It definitely wasn’t our tour.
Instead, they threw us onto some random budget tour that was, frankly, a joke. We spent most of the time sitting inside the boat (with tiny, stuffy windows) while the guide would point outside and say things like, “Monkey Island!” or “Pirate Cave!”—without actually stopping. Just a slow roll-by, then on to the next. I gave up even getting up to look. What was the point?
The “grand finale” was a stop for lunch at a place where all the tours go. Imagine 30-40 people, zero hand-washing, no sanitizer in sight. My husband, starving because our original tour was supposed to include breakfast, ate the food. Big mistake. Huge. He got food poisoning and was sick for THREE DAYS. So not only was our tour ruined, but it completely wrecked the rest of our trip.
Now, you’d think, okay, at the very least, they’ll refund the difference. Nope. Our original tour was around $100 per person. This discount disaster they dumped us on? Was $50 per person we looked it up after. So naturally, they refunded us… $50. Total. For both of us. Meaning, we actually paid $50 more than everyone else on that boat. No apology, no real refund, just a “you’re welcome for the downgrade” attitude.
This company is a disaster—unorganized, unprofessional, and they do not care about their customers. I could cry every time I think about this absolute nightmare of a day.
Do yourself a favor: Book literally anywhere else.
Heerlijke, compleet verzorgde dag, waarbij we inderdaad vòòr de drukte uit de mooie natuur boven en onder water konden bekijken. Na een ontbijtje op het strand was het drie kwartier met een speedboat. Ni is een enthousiaste en ervaren reisleidster, die op tijd aangweft waar we op moeten letten en onvermoeid op verzoek foto's maakt.
Eén van betere lunch buffetten die we tijdens dit soort uitjes hebben meegemaakt. En de verzorging verder aan boord was met drankjes, water en vers fruit helemaal prima.
Voor ons de eerste keer dat we snorkelen en we vonden het geweldig. Later hebben we gemerkt dat er nog iets betere kwaliteit snorkels is (met extra ventiel), dat zou een verbeterpuntje kunnen zijn. Maskers perfect. We kijken terug op een hele geslaagde dag!
