We took a trip with the Khao Lak Planner company to Khao Sok Reserve to trek in the jungle. We had a great guide named Gae, who was stunning, professional, smiling and full of energy. We trekked in the jungle while Gae showed us a snake on the tree, lizards that camouflage themselves all over the tree, and shy macaque monkeys on the tree. I highly recommend the trip.

Na uitgebreid contact en advies een tweedaagse tour geboekt bij Khaolak Planner. Dit was de eerste dag (Kha Sok). We hadden een leuke chauffeur en gids. Mooie tocht (ca. 6 km) door Kha Sok National Park waar we redelijk wat wildlife hebben gezien. Na de tocht genoten van een heerlijke lunch en toen op naar het bambooraften. Dit was een vrij kort tochtje. Het traditionele koffie (bamboo cup) maken duurde langer dan het raften. Toch hebben we verder een leuke dag gehad. Toen naar de accommodatie voor een overnachting in het Rock and Treehouse resort. Dat viel ons wel tegen. Misschien is het leuk voor ouders met kinderen, maar voor stellen is het niets. Het is donker en erg gedateerd. Dan zijn er in Khao Sok vast leukere accommodaties te vinden.

We loved the day with our your guide Gay! She was very friendly, kind, and funny, the kids fell in love with Gay! The trail was perfect, we saw lots of animals, including various kinds of monkeys, spiders, and bats. Swimming at the waterfall was very refreshing. The lunch - the variety of food and the quality of food - was excellent!! There were vegan, vegetarian, and chicken options - all of these Thai dishes were delicious! Then we went to float down the river on a bamboo raft. This was very peaceful. In the middle of it was a coffee break. They boiled water inside bamboo pipes and served in bamboo cups that we got as souvenirs! We highly recommend this tour, the company, and our guide, Gay!
