Guqin is one of the oldest traditional musical instruments in China, It is a plucked instrument with seven-string . It has more than 3000 years history. Guqin had traditionally been favored by scholars and literati in ancient China.Although it was very polular in anciend Chinese daily life , but most of Chinese peole are not familiar with Guqin nowadays ,it is gruadully returnning to public's vision since the appearance at 2008 Olympic opening ceremony. If you want to have a special experiences besides sightseeing, local food tasting etc when travelling in Chengdu , it's worthy to spend one hour for this typical Chinese traditional culture experience.

This is my first time to learn guqin which is so exciting i even could play one song in my first class! In Here, Rachel taught me how to play this instrument , she really teaches well and patiently , she told me the philosophy of Guqin and many more, Really worth to try this experience!
