The boat trip on Lake Martel is included (Covid regulations permitting), together with a visit to the pretty harbour town of Porto Cristo and the pearl factory, making this a unique experience and one to remember all your life. Beautiful cave, one of the best we have ever visited with the most extensive stalagmites, stalactites and pillar systems. The musical performance was amazing.

Tours are about the sites but also about the tour guide and ours was the absolute best. She took us to the caves, sharing all kinds of interesting information along the way to the caves and back and helped us enjoy a lovely lunch by the water before we returned back to the ship. The caves were terrific but definitely not for anybody who’s even a little claustrophobic or afraid of the dark. There is lighting and it is beautifully done, but the caves are not fully lit. The concert and the boat ride after the concert were nice added touch. Be prepared for about 100 steps, however, and once you head down, you have no choice but to walk the entire cave route. It was a great place to visit though. Rock formations were beautiful.

I give this 4 stars because of some reservations with respect to the caves. The caves themselves are amazing and nature at its best. That said, while the classical concert (four songs) was beautiful, waiting 30 minutes for them to seat all the visitors in the cave in the music venue was unwelcome and, in my opinion, wasteful time. Also, the boat ride was literally 30 seconds. People waited in line much longer (thankfully not us) than the ride itself. It took 45 minutes one way to get there from the cruise ship so take that into consideration. Michael, our tour guide, was professional, very knowledgeable and kind. That said, he has a very low speaking voice and thus it made it extremely difficult to hear him. I would suggest a microphone. Mallorca was beautiful, lively and had great restaurants and a beautiful cathedral. I would recommend this tour if you love caves. It is a very unique experience.
