Our visit will take you through the heart of the city, from its Phoenician origin to its Renaissance walls, entering some unique spaces.
This tour will allow you to discover the millenary history of Melilla, a city with an incredible past and a rich and interesting heritage.
The tour takes the visitor through one of the most beautiful, ancient and best preserved Renaissance fortifications in the Mediterranean.
You will know its rich history, from the Paleolithic, Phoenicians, Punics, Carthaginians, Vandals, Byzantines, Arabs, Andalusians to the present day.
You will visit three of its unique enclosures, 18th century Hornabeque moat, Plaza de Armas (End of the 15th century), Galapagos cove (SVII AC), Puerta de Santiago (16th century), Santa Ana tunnel, Plaza de los Aljibes and Plaza de Pedro de Estopiñan.
Outer city walls. Remembering that within this immense habitable museum there are different museums of great interest.

Foso del Hornabeque, Melilla, Spain El Foso del Hornabeque is one of the most outstanding places in the citadel of Melilla la Vieja. It is part of the Historic Artistic complex of the City. 10 minutes

Guide did not turn up. Not much else to say apart from extremely disappointing. First time booking via Tripadvisor. Never had a guide not turn up before. Will not book via Tripadvisor again.
