We will get in touch once you have booked to organise and confirm your specific pick up location & time. Your tour, including your pick up and drop off, is totally customised to suit your timing (the booking system requires a start time, we chose 9.30 as that was frequently chosen).

Cruise Ship passengers are picked up directly from the Port and independent travellers are picked up from your centrally located accommodation. If you would like a pick up from somewhere else, please ask as we will usually be able to help.

Now first of all: Suzee, the tour operator, is an absolute sweetheart and so much fun to spend time with. She reached out to me as soon as I had booked the tour and made sure to know what I’d be interested in to see. She also made sure to show me around to the hidden gems of Wellington and beyond. We were on a 4-week holiday in New Zealand and Australia. My partner made all of the tour plans and I came home one day and she was so excited; she beamed, "We're going on a full-day Wellington tour with Suzee!" Suzee had already responded to our request and wanted to know what ideas we had for our visit. Our tour of Wellington with Suzee was one of the highlights of our entire month-long trip. It was like visiting a friend in a city you've never been to. The whole day was tailored to all the desires on our list. We got to experience the full Wellington vibe from someone who clearly loves their city. Moreover, Suzee is so personable and fun; we laughed and laughed! We definitely made a new friend. On a tour with uTours, you'll visit so many locations that one would never see in a large group tour. If you're wanting to see Wellington the way *you* want to see it, book a full-day tour with uTours. That's a good idea!

We spent four weeks touring New Zealand and Australia and one of the highlights (by far!) was touring Wellington with Suzee from uTours. Suzee responded to my tour inquiry almost immediately, and expressed genuine curiosity about what we were interested in to be sure to tailor our time in the city specifically to our desires. All her pre-tour communication was clear and helpful and heartfelt – I felt as if I knew her before we even arrived in Wellington. She was there, right on time, waiting for us when we disembarked our cruise ship; she is so warm and genuine, it felt like being picked up by a friend. Suzee was determined to show us a good time. And she did! It was a spectacular day all around. We saw so much of the city and its surrounds, learned quite a bit about New Zealand’s history and life in Wellington, took countless pictures and laughed a LOT! Suzee even went halvies on lunch with me so I could try two entrees – that’s commitment. It’s clear that Suzee loves her hometown, and enjoys showing it off to others. When I think back on our travels, our day in Wellington with Suzee is one of my most cherished memories from the trip. Can’t say enough good things. If you’re wondering if you should book a tour with uTours… do it! HIGHLY recommend!!!
