Split is a strange combination of old town charm and history, and graffiti covered or characterless often deserted buildings. The Palace is stunning and our guide took us for a short tour around it. The viewpoint from the hills is impressive. The rest of the time we were left to ourselves when we stopped. More information/history would have made the experience better and more . But our driver was on time and collected and dropped us back at our hotel which was some distance from the centre and was unfailingly polite.

Took this tour with our family (2 adults and 2 kids, 15 and 11). They picked us up right off the cruise ship and dropped us in Old Town. Was a very enjoyable way to see some of the highlights of the city and then be able to explore on our own. Owner came to make sure we were taken care of. Great family owned business!

Our guide was wonderful, thoughtful and informative. We were very happy with this tour. We really enjoyed the traveling through the city on the tuck tuck. I would recommend it.
