Krka was meant to be the highlight of my trip. As neither of us drink wine we chose a tour without a food/wine tour included. Several hours at the park and then a stop at the beach seemed perfect. After booking I was informed that we would stop at Sibenik on the way. A lovely old town but not what I wanted to do. This also meant a windy coastal road trip taking two hours. During which the guide did more political lecturing on conspiracy theories about Jews taking over the world and other such views. We then finally went to Krka where our guide said we had 2 hours, told us two routes to the main waterfall but failed to guide us on the fact that park has a one way system with a few signs saying such but not many. By the time we realised it was too late and had a lovely time going against the cruise ship sized tours luckily enough to be actually guided by their guide. We then went to Primošten which is lovely but only for a short time. If you want to explore Krka, this is not the tour for you. If you want a brief tour interspersed with political lecturing then spot on.

The first town, although it looks pretty, but at 10:30 in the morning with so much heat, it's really not worth it. Krka is fine but the entrance fee is very expensive and even though we announced that we would take a boat trip, we didn't go on it because they say it wastes a lot of time. The last town is very pretty and has a spectacular beach, but in just over an hour, which is the time they give you, you don't have time to enjoy it. In general, the excursion is nice, quite expensive and I think that the times could be better organized (I would skip the first town) and give that hour to the last town.

We boarded a minibus in Trogir with Tommy as driver. He drove quite fast to the falls, with some daring overtaking maneuvers. Arrived at the park, tickets handed over and departure time notified. Unfortunately we did not quite have 3 hours stay at the lakes. If you want to do the boat trip as described in the advertisement and walk from there for the quarter of an hour to the waterfall and back again, then it is not possible in time. We did the boat trip, but stayed on the ship right away, and drove back. As soon as we got back to the port, the phone rang where we stay. Immediately rushed off and after almost 10 minutes had been at the car. I'm sure that's not how you imagined it. Then drive to Primošten, where we had almost 2 hours. Very nice time spent there. On the way back again daring overtaking operations. All in all, it was actually a pretty disappointing day, as you were already pretty stressed.
