  • Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia
    Plitvice are known as a natural phenomenon because they keep changing through sedimentation of calcium carbonate and create special kinds of algae and moss, tufa or travertine which has been deposited and is still deposited to form the natural dams that separate the lakes. Since the process is ongoing today, just as it always has, new travertine barriers, curtains, stalactites, channels, and cascades are built as the existing ones keep changing. So it doesn’t matter if you have visited the lakes before, they probably look different now, so you can visit them again and never be bored. Besides the lakes, there are some interesting caves in which remains of prehistoric settlements have been found.

  • The tour includes prox. 5km of walking on uneven surfaces -please wear comfortable walking shoes (we visit highlights of both, the Lower Lakes and the Upper Lakes).

  • Here are few items you may need to make your time on the excursion the best of all: closed comfortable shoes (sneakers), sportswear, In case of rain raincoat or an umbrella. After summer time we recommend to bring also a warm sweater or jacket.

Amazing national park with insanely beautiful waterfalls. We apparently went during the quiet season and it still sold out for the day, so going with a tour seems to be a requirement.

Booker was a first class tour! The driver Marco and guide Sonia were Amazing. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The beauty of the park was Awesome!! Marco was a safe driver and Sonia was very helpful to our group. She knew the park inside and out. She took us on the most beautiful route with a stunning ending. Both deserve a big round of applause. They are the perfect guides!

Wow, what an amazing experience. Beautiful park, like walking on the water falls. Luca was our guide was super nice and helpful. He was extremely knowledgeable in history and nature, answered any questions that came from the group
