Wonderful tour, it was a perfect day walking around both cities and learning more about their history. The guide was very helpful and lovely during the tour. We had a great time!

Wir hatten zur vorgegeben Zeit der Tour keine Möglichkeit teilzunehmen. Wir wurden an eine private Reiseleitung vermittelt und hatten eine tolle Tour durch Split. Perfekter Service

This is a tour of Diocletian's Palace in the heart of the old town Split. This ancient palace was built for the Roman emperor Diocletian at the turn of the fourth century AD.. While it is referred to as a "palace" because of its intended use as the retirement residence of Diocletian, is also served as a large fortress. The ruins have been very well preserved. When you walk the streets of the Palace, you really do feel like you are being transported back in time. It is a UNESCO World heritage Site. The tour guide was personable and the tour was informative. It is also good to know the history of the stones you are looking at. We also paid for a meal following the tour (Peka - Croatian stew). It would have been better had the restaurant added some lamb to the fat (at least the potatoes were good). I would avoid the meal and just go for the tour. 8/10 - just the tour 7/10 - with the meal
