Petar drove us from Supetar to Skrip to visit the Olive Oil Museum. Before leaving us to spend some time looking round and tasting he made sure that it was not too busy and that we knew where to find the toilets etc and the car park for the return trip.
On our journey from Supetar we were told about the history of the area, which was really fascinating, and Petar had such an interesting way of explaining everything and his knowledge is immense.
Petar came back for us and instead of going back to Supetar we decided to ask if we could be taken to the viewpoint at Vidova Gora as we are both keen photographers and it would be a perfect opportunity. He was pleased to drive us there and he spent his time explaining about the different views and islands visible and gave us time to take as many photos as we wanted. This was the highlight of our day and one we will never forget.
On the way back to Supetar we did a little detour to see the little church of St Peter in Nerezisca which is famous for the black pine growing out of the roof. This was a lovely idea and something we wouldn't have known about if it hadn't been for Petar.
So, if you are visiting Brac Island Petar is the driver for you. He is such a fountain of knowledge, very well mannered, takes his time to show you everything and is a very safe driver, what more could you want?
