This itinerary is perfect for first-time visitors to Sri Lanka. We pick you up at Bandaranaike International Colombo Airport and start the journey that covers most of the famous UNESCO world heritage in Sri Lanka including Polonnaruwa ancient city, Sigiriya rock fortress, Dambulla cave temple and Kandy temple.     Great trip. I Would highly recommend Kumara my tour guide and Beyond Escapes Tour Company. As a solo (senior) traveler I was taken care of very well. In 10 days I saw 7 UNESCO world heritage sites, a UNESCO Forest, went on a safari and saw gorgeous scenery everywhere. Plus Kumara was a wonderful driver and he drove a Prius Hybrid with A/C comfortably throughout this fabulous trip.

    We had a 6 day holiday in Sri Lanka for our honeymoon. Unfortunately we arrived on the day that curfews had been imposed which limited our itinerary. Our driver and guide Krishan was professional, polite and kind. The only thing we could fault was some of his historical knowledge (for example repeated pointing out locations that Queen Victoria visited, despite the fact she never travelled to Sri Lanka) We were still able to enjoy our time, the highlight being the safari in Yala, staying in the leopards nest tree nest. We would recommend Krishan and Beyond Escapes
