Had lunch at Golden Dragon restaurant at Taj Samudra Colombo. The food was delicious and service was excellent. The dishes recommended by the staff was amazing specially the black pepper beef curry. Special mention of Kasun Lasantha and Vijith who saw that we enjoyed the food and were very attentive. We enjoyed the food very much.

The best ! My husband is Sri Lankan so we visit this beautiful country at least once year. We have tried many of the hotels in Colombo and around Sri Lanka and the Taj is one of our favorites. This stay we stayed in Shang Ri La as well and while it is lovely and wonderful, Taj is our favorite.

Me along with two of my colleagues went for a dinner on 10th Aug at Taj Samudra after finishing our business review meeting @ Movenpick. Mr Warren was the captain, the buffet dinner was horrible and its not even 0.1% of Taj Standard. We have ordered a dosa from live counter and the batter was very old and the quality of dosa was worst. Have been visiting this property since 2007, but yesterday was one of the worst experience we had. I ordered a Virgin Mojito, the irony was that, they served a glass of water with sugar syrup, few ice cubes and two mint leaves. Total bill value was 30K SLR. I would like to draw the attention of Senior Management of Taj Hotel authorities. I have a food bill, which I can produce if you need. Please don't cheat people and spoil the reputation of Taj.
