We enjoyed our cooking class with chef Shyama and her team! It was such a great experience and we highly recommend to do it while in Kandy! The food was so good and she even did a last minute dish request for us. I would even say it was the best food we had in Sri Lanka and the best thing is, you will get all the recipes afterwards ;) Chef Shayama and her team explained everything really well and even took the time to take pictures from us! If you have the opportunity to visit the local food market with her - do so! Many thanks again and hope to see you soon!

Wonderful experience with Chef Wasu and his helper Nandani. We started with a Kandy market tour where Wasu explained us all the vegetables and spices used in Sri Lanka cooking. We even got to choose some that we wanted to cook! We cooked 10 different dishes, from grating a coconut to making a curry, they both explained the recipes very well:) We left with the recipe book and pictures taken during the class. Very warm welcoming into their home of Sudesh and his wife, we felt like at home! Thank you again :) If you are looking for a cooking class in Kandy, this is the best place to go! It way more traditional and special than others I’ve done around Asia in cooking schools.

Wat een gave en bijzondere ervaring was dit! Eerst het bezoek aan de markt, waar je je ogen uitkijkt. Vervolgens het koken; FANTASTISCH! Wij voelde ons ontzettend thuis bij de familie. Met een boel warme en attente mensen om ons heen was dit een onvergetelijke ervaring! Ik zou het iedereen aanraden!
