Summary of the Nuwara Eliya Day Tour (1 Day) During this 1 Day Tour we will be sight-seeing must visit areas in Nuwara Eliya. The Departure time is around 7:00am. However, we would vary this time depending on the guests request. But we suggest that the Departure time be before at least 10:00am so that we can slowly complete all stops in the itinerary without rushing.

In-order for the guide / driver to reach the pick-up location (must be in Kandy), please provide the stay details at least 1 hour prior to departure time.

  • Minimum age is 18 years
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

We booked Lanka Safe Tours for a transfer from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya with a couple of stops of our choice along the way, and the experience far exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Kavishan, was outstanding - not only did he handle everything smoothly (including assisting with entrance tickets), but he also shared fascinating insights into the history and culture of Sri Lanka with such passion. To our surprise, he even suggested an additional stop before dropping us at our accommodation, which was a wonderful bonus. The vehicle was modern, clean, and very comfortable, making the journey enjoyable for the whole family. We are so grateful we chose this company and are already looking forward to another day with them next week. Highly recommended!

A really enjoyable experience in the comfort of a car. Got to see lots of tea plantations and waterfalls in Nuwara Eliya. Cham was a good guide and assisted to take many pics. I requested not to be taken to the gem factory and went to Damro tea plantation instead. There was no hardselling on the tour and I really appreciate it. However the roads are very bendy so if you are prone to motion sickness it's better to take some pills and medication.
