This is a full on day tour which started with collection at 6.00 and finished being dropped off 2000hrs only. It is a long day but if like us you have limited time in kandy then it is ideal.
Our tour guide was funny, friendly, professional and gave us a lot of engaging explanation to make the experience come to life, especially around the temple tea plantation, Elephant orphanage and many more . He was always happy to answer questions and has a lot of knowledge around the places you visit.
The time spend at pinnawala was the best part of the day by far, and it is an experience not to be missed.
The stops at the craft workshop, tea Factory, herble Garden are useful to break up the journey and there is no pressure to buy anything from anyone.
The Axio car is brilliant, really The driver is really good considering the traffic they had to contend with and whilst you spend about 4 hours on the car, it is comfortable and as pleasant as it can be.
