Our tour is a must do on a visit to St Andrews. Of course, it's the home of golf in Scotland, but there's much more to see around town. A centre beaming with long-time locals, students from all over the world and even royalty! When walking around, you get a sense of the traditions that have been held for over 800 years, as well as modern Scottish town life all at once.
Join us on a 1.5 hour leisurely stroll around the main sights of the town with a local, expert guide. Learn about it’s history as you walk in the footsteps of 8th century witches, university traditions and golfing legends who stepped foot on the same cobbled streets, as well as modern life in the town today. From beginning to end, our tour guide (Carol) engaged and entertained us with interesting information about Saint Andrews. It was my favorite walking tour during our visit to Scotland.

Our guide was Carol and she was great! Well-paced tour that gave a nice overview of the history of St Andrews, with interesting anecdotes throughout showing its ongoing relevance to the St Andrews of today. Highly recommended, especially if Carol is at the helm.

Kate was an excellent guide, knowledgeable and patient with a good sense of humor. She was with us for almost two hours so I felt we got our money's worth. While I have been to St.. Andrews several times before, we were travelling with friends who had not been to Scotland . This guided tour of St. Andrews was perfect for them.
