Staying on island: please state the name of your hotel or place of stay and address if private residence, airBnb or Villa! Cruise Line guests: Locate land taxi station. Walk pass taxi's to the circle with the sign "Hope To see You Soon Again". The pathway along the green wire fence with the car park on your right, leads to the EDC bus parking area.

    Discover our island’s culture & charm. Enjoy personal encounters with some of our colorful feathered inhabitants. Depart the cruise port or hotel near Philipsburg in an air-conditioned minivan. Listen to informative commentary from your driver as you traverse the village roads and green hillsides on route to the bird park. On arrival explore the garden habitat of exotic and colorful species of birds. Staff will disseminate information on the species of birds at the park. Wander leisurely amidst species such as black headed caique, brown throated conure, ring neck parakeet, sun conure and others. Feeding the birds is fascinating & unique, a truly up-close encounter. See plants and vegetation, some of which are medicinal & nutrition for the birds. On return, stop for ice cream, and an opportunity to sample or purchase a variety of Dutch Gouda cheese, one of the most popular cheeses worldwide. Then back to port or stay in town to shop, dine or swim and return to port at your leisure.

This was hands down the best activity for all members of the family. Great for kids and great for older family member who do not move around too good. Our tour guide/driver Claudette was amazing!!! She is so proud of her island and knows everyone on the island! She made sure everyone was safe and comfortable! You can tell she loves her job and loves people! Everyone at the parrot ville was super nice and helped everyone attract the birds.

The driver Loyd was very prompt and knowledgeable about the island. He provided us with a great history of the island, both the French and Dutch sides. He was very articulate and spoke like a professor or movie star!

This was such a great thing to add to my solo trip to do! I had such a great time and the tour guide was beyond friendly and informative. I really had such a great experience on this tour. The birds on the farm are so beautiful and really well taken care of. After the bird farm, we stopped and got some really good cheese! The tour guide even offered to take photos for us! I definitely would recommend booking this tour while you are on the island. It is kid, friendly and solo traveler friendly. I had a great time!
