Embark the Sky Explorer ride to the top of Sentry Hill, St. Maarten’s highest elevation at 1,125 feet. A series of platforms encircle the mountaintop showcasing 360-degree views of the whole island. You´ll fly down the mountain at speeds of up to 56 miles per hour on the world’s steepest zip line, The Flying Dutchman.  You’ll be attached to a flight line in a secure harnessed chair to experience the ride of a lifetime; after you will enjoy the zipline over the mountain ridge, then you will surf down the mountain in an inner tube, Schooner ride.

Really fun! We did all three activities - tube slide, canopy tour zipline and Flying Dutchman zipline. So much fun and great views! It seems scary but really isn't. The canopy tour there are two guides with the group, one who assists you on each side. A note - on canopy tour - no selfie sticks or phones allowed. They go into a locker, and you get them back when you finish. They do take photos of you that you can view and purchase after you are done. There is also a little museum about local history and Emilio's restaurant.

Very unhappy with the overall communication with this company. I am unable to WhatsApp, Phone, or email with this company regarding my appointment. I had a personal issue and was not able to make the experience at the appointed time. I called and tried to ask for rescheduling or even a partial refund, but I've been fully ghosted. Do not pay online and schedule everything in person, otherwise you will lose a lot of money if anything comes up. They refuse to communicate and do not support travellers. Note: I cannot comment on the experience itself because they have not provided any communication or flexibility, so I've missed out on trying it.

The overall experience was very fun. We arrived early before the excursions that were booked through the cruise lines. We were able to ride the tube slide immediately. It was ok but not great. Then we immediately got back on the lift to the top of the mountain. We had to wait about a half hour for the 4 zip lines at the top. Then we rode the lift to the Flying Dutchman. Once you get there it is sort of unorganized. We stood around a bit before we realized you had to put your name on a list to get in line for the ride. We waited another 30-40 minutes for this ride. The views were amazing everywhere and made this excursion worth it. When it was our turn for the Flying Dutchman it was raining at the bottom of the mountain. So the last 20 seconds it was raining and we were traveling so fast it felt like needles hitting us. They held the ride after we went for the rain to pass. Again it was not crowded when we were there. If there are a bunch of people I imagine the wait would be substantial. Overall we had a fun time and loved the views of St. Marteen.
