Laurent from Caribbean Paddling is a laid back and easy-going gentleman. He will help outfit you for your skill level and desired activity, and then set you loose to enjoy. If the sea weed is in, there is a fishy smell, but don’t let that deter you; because you will quickly paddle to bluer seas and a white sandbar, which is located half way to the island. Pinel is a beautiful and natural island with a gift shop and restaurant/bar. The kitchen closes at 3:00, but the drinks flow until 4:00 pm when the island starts shutting down. Take a quickly hike to the top to enjoy the view before paddling back to Laurent at 5:00 pm ending your adventure.

It is the ONLY way to go to the island! Coupled with snorkeling, the kayak gives you so much freedom to stop at different places (sandbar and the small island in between) for more snorkeling and relaxing fun! Thoroughly recommend!

Magical! The best time! The service was amazing and this experience was one I will never forget. We rented snorkel gear with the kayaks and so happy we did. We swam with sea turtles and saw tons of fish.
