    We start the walk at Bangalore's largest wholesale market. Guests will experience a sensorial extravaganza with the market's myriad smells, colors and sounds

    We will visit Bangalore Fort. Built-in 1537 by Kempe Gowda the founder of Bangalore as a mud fort, it was reinforced with stone by Tipu’s father Hyder Ali in 1761. We will talk about how the fort played a role in the Anglo Mysore wars between Tipu and the British forces led by the legendary Lord Cornwallis. Note The fort is closed on Sundays and hence if the booking is for a Sunday, this cannot be visited.

We had a great time touring Bangalores historic sites and flower market area with Vignesh! He is very knowledgeable and makes it a fun experience all around! Highly recommend this tour :)

This tour was definitely worthwhile. KR market is a vibrant and bustling place, even more so for me since I took the tour on a Sunday which as I've been told is significantly more crowded than other days. I will admit, it might not be a type of crowd for everyone. I also enjoyed how Vignesh was able to share a glimpse of Tipu Sultan's life in a way that even a foreigner can easily appreciate. My guide's knowledge of the local history was fascinating, and the stops along the way felt designed to build up on the story of Tipu Sultan's life. Overall the tour was great.
