The fjord adventure would be incomplete without a guided trip to Kjerag bolt. The five cubic meter glacial deposit is mysteriously suspended between two rocks, with the location being a world of its own. It inspires to humbleness and gratitude for having been allowed the privilege to experience nature in its utmost purity, from the top of the world. Standing on the boulder itself is not for the faint of heart and visitors to Kjerag should be reminded that what this place has to offer is more than just an impressive boulder. Chances are you will be in awe of nature’s unmistakable beauty the entire trip, culminating with the breathtaking vistas over the Lysefjord. BASE jumpers challenge their limits on a regular basis from this majestic location and visitors may get the chance to see the “flying” daredevils in action.

Cancelling the tour last minute and ruining my whole Norway trip, thanks for that. Trip advisor will have no message that pops up to notify that, no email or phone calls too.

The tour guide is very kind, humorous, and knowledgable. She was very good at taking pictures for us and I learnt a lot about the Norwegian culture and the Norwegian nature from her. The communication prior to the tour was excellent and I was picked up from my Airbnb in Stavanger on time. Be sure to bring an extra layer of clothes! I was freezing on top of Kjeragbolten and the guide lent me her traditional Norwegian wool jumper to keep me warm. My family are now very envious of my fjord photos, so we will book a tour with them again next year!
